While assuredly not official information and something which should only be considered as plausible but not definitely true, these alleged leaks about Marvel's Spider-Man 2 are still quite interesting. Players would be thrilled to be able to utilize the symbiote suit for different combat options in battle, and giving Miles Morales more screen time as his own version of Spider-Man is something everyone can agree is a good thing.

Peter Parker and his immediate cast are compelling, too, but they're played out in a way Miles and his circle aren't. This isn't to suggest Peter shouldn't still play a role in a hypothetical Miles Morales 2.

The teacher-student dynamic between Peter and Miles in Spider-Man: Miles Morales gives the story a lot of heart and seeing that relationship evolve over the course of the game is rewarding. Seeing their relationship shift as Miles and Peter partner up on equal footing in a sequel would be even more rewarding.

In addition to adding heart, it would add spectacle. There are already glimpses of that in Miles Morales, but having the pair work together more would evoke a sense of awe and open the door for high-octane superhero action and setpieces.
